The way we communicate with ourselves and others absolutely affects the world we experience. And often our word choices affect our communication.

And I have for a long time, read that (in my head) that trying was the same as daring greatly. And recently it has come to me that the contestant does not enter the arena to try. Rather they enter to succeed to “dare greatly”. Eliminate the words “I’ll try” from your vocabulary you will be more powerful.
Another word that is troublesome is, “just”; as in “I am just a… or we will just…” This tends to minimize our role. How often have you met someone who says, “I am just a ….
One of my nieces has taken this to a new level. While she does work, out of the house, when you look at her face book page; her occupation is “Being a Kick Ass Mommy.” No wishy-washy sentiment there.
Words have power and when we consciously choose the words we use it is remarkable how our results can change. What words are you choosing?
